End of the Season Joy


Joy is ... brussel sprouts! Believe it or not, it is a favorite in my house. Kids included! Try this recipe and see if it changes that ...ugh! brussel sprouts! that we all uttered in our youth.


Brussel Sprouts
1. Remove the outer leaves that are wilted, make an "x" on the bottom side of the stem and boil in water until they are just about soft.
2. Let cool so that you can slice them in half through the stem.
3. Add butter to a skillet and toss in brussel sprouts and pieces of ham. Cook until golden. Serve.

I need a pretty place to rest my spoon these days.
