Spice it up!

Monday marked the second of three meat distributions from Austin Farm in Belchertown, MA. As always, you get what you get. That is one of the fun things about a CSA, you're always learning about local food and figuring out how to cook new things!

Ground Pork "burger"
I like to make small patties so they fit in the palm of my hand. After shaping, press your thumb in the center. Burgers are done when that impression is gone. Cook burgers on low to med heat with a cover on for about 6 minutes, flip for another 3 and then cook longer if needed. Serve on toasted bun with bar-b-que sauce.
Just delicious!

Time to get going on those spices and herb gardens!
